These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text messages sent by or on behalf of the Gulfport Senior Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By voluntarily opting in to receive SMS/text messages from the Gulfport Senior Foundation, you agree to these SMS Terms.
The Gulfport Senior Foundation may use SMS/text messaging to communicate with individuals who have expressly opted in to receive such communications.
Depending on the program or your interaction with us, messages may include:
Foundation news and community updates
Upcoming event announcements and reminders
Event registration or attendance information
Program and activity information
Volunteer opportunities
Fundraising campaigns and donation opportunities
Distinctly Gulfport news and updates
Important notices regarding Foundation activities
Responses to inquiries or requests you initiate
Message frequency may vary based on your interaction with the Foundation, upcoming events, programs, and communications you have elected to receive.
By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in to SMS communications, you consent to receive recurring text messages from or on behalf of the Gulfport Senior Foundation at the mobile number you provided.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of making a donation, purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or receiving Foundation services.
Messages may be sent using automated technology where permitted by applicable law.

Your wireless carrier’s standard messaging, data, and other charges may apply to messages you send or receive. The Gulfport Senior Foundation is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Reply STOP to any text message from us to unsubscribe.
After submitting a STOP request, you may receive a final confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you should no longer receive messages from the applicable SMS program unless you subsequently opt in again.
Other commonly recognized opt-out keywords may also be honored where supported by our messaging provider.

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected in connection with our SMS program is handled in accordance with the Gulfport Senior Foundation Privacy Policy available on DistinctlyGulfport.org.
We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile information, including mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in consent information, will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share information with service providers that assist us in delivering and operating our SMS communications, but only as reasonably necessary to provide those services on our behalf.

If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, please unsubscribe the old number from our SMS communications before discontinuing its use whenever possible.
You must be authorized to use the mobile telephone number provided when opting in to our SMS program.
If you are under 18, you should obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before subscribing to SMS communications.
The Gulfport Senior Foundation may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of its SMS program at any time.
We may also update these SMS Terms periodically to reflect changes in our communications, technology, service providers, practices, or applicable requirements. The “Last Updated” date above will identify the most recent version.
Your continued participation in the SMS program following an update is subject to the then-current SMS Terms.
